Full Description
A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by AOC Archaeology in June and July 2021 ahead of housing development (Oldfold Farm Phases 3 and 4). A total of 44 trenches were excavated across the area, but the only features recorded were pits likely to relate to modern activity and rubble field drains. No features or artefacts of archaeological significance were observed.
