Full Description

Excavations by Headland Archaeology at Gairnhill in 2014 ahead of the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route recorded only a single isolated Neolithic pit at this location (site SL/004C). It was shallow and contained a small piece of flint (flake) and sherds of pottery dated to the Neolithic period.
