Full Description
A trial trenching evaluation and walkover survey was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in February 2015 ahead of proposed development. In the north of the field two small cairns probably originated from nearby forestry works. Trial trenching recorded rig and furrow, aligned northwest-southeast across much of the field. The dyke bounding the woodland in the southern part of the site was recorded, but no other archaeological features were identified within the woodland, and no artefacts recovered during the investigations.
