Full Description

A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by GUARD Archaeology in February 2015 on an area proposed for development at Counteswells (Phase 1A Boundary 1). A total of 102 trenches were excavated. Field drainage related to 19th or 20th century agricultural improvements were uncovered, but no features or artefacts of archaeological significance were recorded.
