Full Description

Geophysical survey was carried out by Headland Archaeology in 2012 ahead of the proposed Aberdeen Western Peripheral route. Possible traces of ridge and furrow cultivation were recorded at circa NJ 8613 0000, and some possible ditch like features. A watching brief during excavation of trial pits in 2008 along the line of the AWPR Southern Leg had recorded no archaeological features.
