Full Description

Site of a now demolished farmstead that is depicted on both the 1869 1st edition and the 1901 2nd edition OS maps. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as two L-shaped buildings, the eastern having a horsemill attached to the west side. A smaller building is shown to the south of the eastern building. By the 2nd edition OS map only the south-westerly wing of the western L-shaped range survives. Aerial photographs held in the NMRS show that the building was ruinous by 1974 and demolished by 1982. Various artefacts have been found by metal detecting in the area, including coins, and items of cutlery.
