Full Description
A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in January 2013 ahead of proposed development. A trench filled with concrete may have been the capping for a drain or the base of a shed, possibly associated with the cottages further east which were reportedly built after World War I as housing for wounded veterans (see also NJ80NE0523). No other archaeological remains were recorded.
