Full Description
Three individual fire pits excavated by CFA in 2019, following on from identification of features during a watching brief within the cable route corridor for the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm (NJ66SE0330). Oval pits of varying size and depth with steep to shallow sides, and fills that included charcoal, fire-cracked stones, angular stones, heat-affected earth and one undiagnostic prehistoric pottery sherd.
