Full Description
Site of a corn and saw mill is depicted at this location on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. A mill lade ran from the River Deveron to the northwest and rejoined it southeast of the mill. It was a 19th century, 3-storey and attic, rubble built mill with two kilns, one with a marine-type ventilator and the other, larger with pyramidal roof and square louvred ventilator. The mill has now been removed and the area used for housing.
