Three pits and four linear ditches excavated by CFA in 2019 during a watching brief within the cable route corridor for the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm (NJ66SE0330). The southern most pit was sub-rounded, shallow, 2.3 m by 0.2 m deep with small and medium sub rounded stones and charcoal. A pair of oval pits to the north varied from 1.2-1.6 m x 0.9-1.15 m by 0.04-0.1 m deep with a varying mix of charcoal and small and medium sized stones. Four linear ditches varied in alignment from east-west, northeast-southwest and north-south, varying from 40-70 m by 0.6-1.4 by 0.37-0.5 m deep, one with small to medium sub rounded stones and charcoal. No archaeological finds were reported from the features.
