Full Description
A watching brief was carried out by MAS in November 2008 over the excavation of the footprints of three turbines to be erected. The soil strip was carried out without the presence of the archaeologist, but a thorough walkover of each site was undertaken in addition to a re-scraping of each footprint. It was noted that the topsoil across this area was particularly shallow, making it doubtful that any prehistoric activity would have survived modern ploughing. No archaeological finds or features were present.
