Full Description
A trial trenching evaluation was conducted in 1993 prior to the construction of a supermarket. Three trenches were excavated, and previously cut foundation trenches were examined. The assessment showed that few archaeological remains had survived on the site, with much of the area having been scraped down to the natural layer, probably during the 20th century.
