Full Description
Site of wells, depicted on OS 1st and 2nd edition maps annotated 'Silver Wells (Chalybeate). OS Name Book notes two strong chalybeate spring wells on the east and west side of the mill dam at Silverwells which they supplied with water. OS (1964) found not trace of the wells, although the level of the dam was low at time of visit.
