Full Description
A cluster of twenty pits and three linear features recorded during a watching brief by CFA in 2011 during topsoil stripping for a gas pipeline. They varied in size between 0.5m in diameter and 5.5.m by 3.5m, with depths of between 0.1m and 0.4m. The finds recovered comprised sherds of prehistoric pottery, lithics and a saddle quern.
