Full Description

A group of seven pits recorded during a watching brief by CFA in 2011 during topsoil stripping for a gas pipeline. They measured between 1.4 m and 0.2 m in diameter and between 0.32 m and 0.14 m in depth. They formed two roughly parallel lines, and possibly indicate a rectilinear structure measuring circa 5 m by 2.5 m. Calcified bone was recovered from two of the pits,
