Full Description
Site of the old Medieval village of Harlaw. It has totally disappeared, though it was recorded in the early 20th century that on its site stone whorls have turned up while ploughing. The one-time owner of Harlaw House had a large collection of these but they were dispersed when he died. A well at NJ74962478 is reputed to be the well of the village. No local knowledge and no visible traces. Classified by RCAHMS as a fermtoun.
