Full Description

Trial trenching evaluation. In 1993 five trial trenches were excavated at this site by SUAT in advance of a proposed development. The burial of a modern heavy horse and a pit containing abundant late 19th or 20th century pottery sherds were found. No evidence relating to medieval occupation was encountered.
