Full Description
Site of two buildings, probably comprising a cottage and a byre or barn, depicted on Walker and Beattie's 'Plan of the Barony of Balquhain lying in the Parishes of Inverury and Chapel of Garioch and County of Aberdeen', surveyed in 1838. The buildings lay on the west side of an enclosure or yard, and stood on the croft of Thomas Anderson, which extended to just over eleven acres of ground (4.5 ha). One of the buildings was removed before 1869 and is not shown on the 1st edition of the OS map of 1869. Not depicted on the 2nd edition OS map.
