Full Description

A 10 percent evaluation was carried out by MAS in 2013 prior to establishment of a reed bed and associated works. Four north-south trenches were excavated but no archaeological features or artefacts were found. The evidence suggests that this was low-lying ground that was probably intermittently part of the River Don floodplain.
