Site of a tumulus known as 'Cantie's Knowe', a large tumulus upon a small natural knoll. The greater part of the mound was removed by the farmer in the 19th century. It consisted largely of charred wood, earth and a few bones. No surface traces are visible, but a cropmark in the location of the tumulus is visible on vertical aerial photographs taken in 1976 and 1988.
