Full Description

An individual pit excavated by CFA in 2019 during a watching brief from 2018 to 2019 within the cable route corridor for the Moray East Offshore Wind Farm (NJ66SE0330). Sub-circular pit with concave sides measuring 1 m diameter by 0.1 m deep, with a fill that contained fire-cracked stone and charcoal, indicative of a fire pit. No further archaeological finds were recorded.
