Full Description
A trial trenching evaluation was carried out by CFA Archaeology in November 2018 within the corridor of a pipeline route, in an area of recorded cropmarks (NJ66SE0105). Nine trenches were excavated. In Trench 23 a linear ditch was recorded, a field boundary depicted on the OS 1st edition map. The only other features recorded were clay pipe field drains.
