Full Description
Site of a cairn. An inverted urn within a stone cist was found in a cairn on the Hill of Doune in the 18th century. The urn, circa 33cm high, was ornamented and 'round it were placed three others, smaller and quite plain'. Each urn contained ashes, burnt bones, flint arrowheads and an oval-shaped piece of flint. No trace of cairn and no further information.
