Full Description

A watching brief was carried out by AOC Archaeology in June 2021 during topsoil stripping for quarry extension (see also NJ66NW0024), adjacent to an earlier watching brief in 2019 (NJ66NW0036). Three features were found possibly relating to post-medieval agricultural activity, consisting of two small pits and a stone filled field drain. No further features of archaeological significance were uncovered.
