Full Description

Site of chapel. There were no traditions regarding it, but Todd suggests it may have been founded by Alexander Stewart at the beginning of the 15th century, who held the barony of Mountblairy and founded a chaplaincy in Garioch. The chapel was ruined by 1792 and entirely demolished when the mansion house of Mountblairy was erected and the grounds improved shortly after. Now no trace of chapel and no further information.

Period Notes
