Full Description
Possible cist cemetery. A great number of cists, each covered with a single flat stone, all lying close together, were found in locality of Auchinbadie in 1877. The name has been interpreted as 'Field of the Graves'. In 1882 the owner was said to have a map of the farm, which showed the location of the cists, but OS noted in 1964 that the then owner had no knowledge of map or burials. It is not known if they were long or short cists.
