Full Description
Disused lime-kiln. Remains of the kiln were recorded in site visit 2003 during survey of limekilns of upper Donside. This was a large substantial kiln, built on a shallow slope and almost freestanding. Of external diameter 8.2 m, it has an internal bowl diameter of 4.4 m. The front face of the draw hole has collapsed and the lintels are missing.
