Full Description

Remains of two lime-kilns.The southern one is depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, the northernmost only on the 2nd edition. Site visit 2003 as part of a survey of lime kilns of Upper Donside noted remains of the southern kiln, but found no trace of the northernmost, the location at that time being within impenetrable conifer plantation.
