Full Description
A single pit recorded during a watching brief carried out by Network Archaeology in 2016 during groundworks for construction of a high pressure gas pipeline between Old Rayne and Jericho (NJ62NE0167). Burnt material within the fill may indicate that it was used for deposition of hearth remains, but it may have been a burnt out tree root hole.
