Full Description
Site of a cairn. In 1860 stones were removed from a cairn revealing what was thought to be a cist containing red and white ashes. Also found were two stones with hollowed centres apparently caused by sharpening tools upon them. Callander says that there were no sepulchural remains but three stone cups were found, one of which is in the NMAS. Nothing is now visible of the cairn. One decorated stone cup is now in the NMS, one has been lost, and the third may be a steatite cup in Marishcal Museum.
