Full Description

Site of cairns, as depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, annotated as a 'Site of Druidical Village' on the former. Seven cairns were noted in the early 19th century, surrounded by a ditch. They appear to have measured up to circa 15 m in diameter. Low in 1868 noted that some of the circles were composed of from 15-18 stones. They were probably a group of 7 hut-circles but the area is now cultivated and there is no visible trace.
