Full Description
Site of St Lawrence's well, a healing well. The site is depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, and the OS Name Bood (1867) recorded that the site of the well was then visible although covered and conveyed into a drain. RCAHMS site visit 1996 noted that nothing is now visible of the well.
