Full Description
Short cist containing a crouched burial and Ca beaker found in 1932 when excavating for sand. The burial was of a male aged 35-40 years, circa 5 ft 4 ins tall, the skeleton laying on its left side, the head at east end facing southeast. A similar cist with crouched burial and beaker was found in 1935 circa 3.66m to the southeast. The cist also contained a beaker, two stone wristguards, a barbed and tanged arrowhead, two flint knives, two flint flakes and three worked flints.
