Full Description
Possible site of burials according to the Old Statistical Account (1793) which states that Bailly's men fled (from the Battle of Alford, (NJ51NE0013), four miles to the northwest) through this moss and that some of them were buried here. It further notes that some time previously a human body and sword had been found near the same spot and that Bloody Faulks, 'hard by this moss' is probably where they were killed.
