Full Description
Possible site of battle. Tradition says that a battle was fought in a hollow on the Tough side of the parish boundary with Keig. An unidentified King is said to have directed the movements of the battle from a position on the 'King's Stone' NJ61NW0019 (NJ 6411 1590) and a horseman is said to have watched the movement of the enemy from the 'Horseman's Stone' NJ61NW0020 (NJ 6440 1574). The stones are naturally placed boulders. No further information.
