Full Description
A walkover survey was carried out by S Farrell in January 2019 ahead of proposed woodland creation. A number of previously known sites were assessed and recorded: remains of a building (NJ60SE0040), circular enclosure (NJ60SE0006), boundary stone (NJ60SE0041), hut circle and cairnfield (NJ60SE0039). There was no sign of rig and furrow recorded as NJ60SE0037 within the scheme area, or of a second boundary stone (NJ60SE0013). A clearance cairn (NJ60SE0042) was concluded to be probably modern.
