Full Description
Site of a railway station depicted on the 2nd edition OS map. The map shows a H-plan building and platform on the south side of the tracks. To the northwest is a sidings and goods yard, with rectangular building, a weighing machine and a crane. . The railway station opened the 1st May 1886 and closed the 6th May 1968. The site is now occupied by residential houses.
