Full Description
Alleged site of castle. According to the New Statistical Account (1845) a strong house or castle once stood at or on the farm of Corvichen, some remains of the foundations still in evidence. OS site visit 1961 found no remains of a castle in or around Carvichen, and the then occupier of house was unable to offer any information.
