Full Description
Site of cairns as depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. They were traditionally the burial cairns of the slain at the Battle of Tillyangus in 1571. A large quantity of human bones was found at this location in about 1800. Nothing is now visible of the cairns.
