Full Description
Remains of a rifle range depicted on the OS 2nd edition map, with a target at circa NJ 15222 70073. Remains of the probable target were recorded during SCAPE Community Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (CCZAS) in 2022. These comprised an L-shaped stone built structure with concrete platform, measuring circa 1.1 m by 2.4 m and 1.3 m high. The walls are of angular roughly shaped sandstone blocks, random course with mortar.
