Full Description

Kettle Howe was a hollow, traditionally the site of a hoard of gold and silver. OS site visit 1967 noted a D-shaped enclosure containing a spring, the name and tradition still known locally. It was concluded that it was not an antiquity but possibly the tradition retains the memory of some find made here.
