Full Description

Site of a well traditionally associated with the Druids. It was still pointed out in 1900 as the Holy Well. OS site visit 1967 recorded that all that could be seen was a marshy depression from which a stream issues. It was the custom to leave pieces of clothing of the sick and diseased and harness of cattle as tokens of gratitude.
