Full Description
Site of a chapel site. The New Statistical Accoint (1845) states that there was formerly a chapel at 'Lenturk' of which there was then no trace, although little way southeast of the of castle site was a spot known locally as the 'Chapel Croft'. OS site visit 1968 found no trance and noted that the name Chapel Croft was not known locally. The ruined secession church (NJ 5987 1234) may be built on the site (see NJ51SE0072).
