Full Description
Site of souterrains which were described by the OS Name Book (1867) as '8 ancient dwellings or Picts habitations, the foundations of which were discovered a short time ago'. On the OS 1st edition map the location is shown as NJ 5390 1899, where there appears to be a faint crop mark of an oval enclosure, but on the OS map of 1888 it is given to the south of the burn at NJ 5375 1895, where there is also a faint crop mark of a possible rectangular enclosure.
