Full Description

Site of a stone circle and causeway destroyed during land improvement circa 1847. Approximately 18 m of causeway were found, paved with flat stones evidently leading to the circle from the northeast. No trace and no local knowledge. A stone cup NJ51NW0011 may be from this site. There is a very faint trace of part of a circular crop mark visible on a vertical aerial photograph taken in 1988 at this location.
