Full Description
Site of Findochty Railway station and a section of the railway line. The station was in operation from 1886 to 1968. It was opened by the Great North of Scotland Railway (GNoSR) on its Moray Firth coast line, with trains running between Aberdeen and Elgin. The station had a single platform with wooden station building, and a cattle loading dock beyond the passenger platform with a single siding. The station was destroyed completely by fire in 1975.
