Full Description
Site of manor. Cairnborrow is mentioned in a charter of 1353 as belonging to William of Keith, Earl Marischal of Scotland. In 1594 it is recorded that the Marquis of Huntly came to Cairnborrow in search of recruits for his army before the battle of Glenlivet.
