Full Description
A programme of mitigation works following an EIA was carried out by CFA Archaeology at Clashindarroch Wind Farm, near Huntly, between July 2013 and January 2014. This included the turbine sites (at south end of development area) and access road and comprised demarcation of sites in close proximity to development and a watching brief during all new ground breaking works close to known sites and outside commercial forestry. Desk based assessment and walkover survey was carried out ahead of Clashindarroch II, the survey covering known heritage assets, the proposed turbine locations (just to the north of the existing wind farm) and access track.
