Full Description
Site of chapel. The OS Name Book (1870) recorded that a very small chapel had existed on the brow of Chapel Hill but only a few scattered stones then remained. Nothing was known locally of its history other than its association with Walla Kirk (NJ43NW0009). OS site visit in 1967 found no trace.
ORDNANCE SURVEY, 1871, Ordnance Name Book, No37(1870) 27 (Bibliographic reference). SAB1360.
