Full Description
Site of castle recorded in the Old Statistical Account as an 'old building of inferior note' burned in 1688 by some of the Highland clans during their march from Strathspey to Strathbogie. There is now no trace of a castle although local information knows of tradition. Dovecot (Aberdeenshire HER NJ43NW0004) may be associated.
